WOMEN EMPOWERMENT

Women are the most important catalysts of change in their children’s live, community, country and the world at large. By empowering women and girls through education, skills training, improved healthcare, or providing a loan to start up a small business (entrepreneurship) is the main goal of RHFC. In this way, we create circles of prosperity in promoting women’s economic independence, creating jobs and help eradicate poverty.

WOMEN & GIRLS’S ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT

We work actively at helping young girls and women achieve economic freedom through various programs:

• The Menstrual Hygiene Management Program helps girls and women understand their menstrual cycle. This in turns helps them avoid unwanted pregnancies (by understanding their menstrual cycle), stay longer in school, reach their highest potential in terms of obtained degrees, and therefore have the highest possible probability of becoming financial independent

• Sewing Program: We teach young girls and women to use sewing machines. This helps some of them become seamstresses and, thus, sustain themselves.

• Hair dressing department.
